BYRON BAY BLUESFEST
Byron Bay Bluesfest is Australia’s premier contemporary Blues & Roots music festival.
It showcases music from around the world annually on the Easter long weekend on 120 hectares at Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm, just north of Byron Bay, NSW.
Bluesfest presents over 200 performances with up to 7 stages over 5, 12 hour days, as well as camping for up to 6,000 people, 5 licensed bars, over 100 food and market stalls, undercover food courts, beer gardens, and children’s entertainment.
SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS
Splendour In the Grass is an annual music and Arts Festival.
As well as the latest and best in music from Australia and overseas, the festival also features local arts and crafts and cuisine.
FALLS FESTIVAL BYRON BAY
The Falls Music & Arts Festival is one of the finest, longest running, boutique music events in Australia.
The festival is based on European style events, featuring a diverse mix of over 70 renowned bands, DJs and comedians from throughout Australia with over 20 international acts. Both events host free camping, a great atmosphere, music and a variety of activities and entertainment across a few of days from Dec 31 to Jan 03 in Byron Bay.
SPIRIT FESTIVAL
Renowned for bringing some world class performers and presenters to the Byron Shire, 2018 will be no exception. With OKA, Tijuana Cartel, Sacred Earth, Amuru Pumak Kuntur (Peru), Mark Whitwell, Gwyn Williams, Dean Gladstone and Dr Marc Cohen already announced, among many others, this is sure to be a spirited event!
BYRON WRITERS FESTIVAL
This August 3-5, over 130 writers and thinkers will converge on the iconic coastal town of Byron Bay to ponder the written word, alongside thousands of other book lovers. Now in its 22nd year, Byron Writers Festival has become famous for its relaxed and friendly vibe, open-air beachside location and compelling conversations spanning a mix of genres including music, art, environment, philosophy, science, politics, human rights and of course memoir and fiction.
BYRON BAY INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
Byron Bay International Film Festival is now Australia’s largest regional film festival, its 10-day program spanning 220+ films from 35+ countries across 50+ sessions and five venues in three regional centres. It screens and awards films of all lengths and genres.
Each year hundreds of film industry professionals walk the red carpet, ranging from international screen legends to local up-and-comers, along with thousands of film lovers. The festival’s events include sell-out gala opening and closing night parties, master classes, panels, workshops and school screenings.
