Surf World Gold Coast
Surf World Gold Coast is Queensland’s only surfing heritage and beach culture museum. It is located on the 1st floor, 35 Tomewin St, Currumbin (opposite Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary).
Take a journey through the years and see the evolution of the design and technology of surf boards as well as the boards ridden by today’s Australian surfing champions.
The exhibition includes an extensive collection of surf boards from the 1930’s to today, amazing photography depicting early surf images, iPads featuring The Legends of Surfing and a range of other rare memorabilia. There is also a gift shop where you can purchase the latest surf artworks, photography, clothing, books and DVDs.
