All our coaches at Black Dog Surf School Byron Bay are fully qualified accredited surfing instructors. They all hold a current Level 1 Surf Instructors Certificate with Surfing Australia.

Black Dog Surf School Byron Bay has always had its own official mascot. George is a black Kelpie/ Jack Russell dog and has been learning the art of surfing for seven years now. He has his own board and loves to surf backwards. The students love George and are always happy to see him in the shop and in the water.

A professional photographer is used to capture the experience of surfing for the students with individual and group photos.
